Greetings
My name is Ptah-Ra and I am a poet, card and jewellery
maker.
In 2008, after becoming disillusioned with the
greeting cards that were offered to the African Caribbean
community I decided to start my own greeting card business.
My business is based on the belief that the customers
needs are of the utmost importance and I am committed to fulfilling those
needs. I am very versatile in the work that I do, therefore, this enables me to
create personalised cards for all occasions that are unique and different.
My cards are handmade from beginning to end using high
quality materials and produced to the highest standard in 2D/3D effect, also
known as decoupage.
My favorite form of card making is BESPOKE cards.
I take any image of your choice, (e.g: a special
person, place or thing) that are meaningful & significant to you and with
your instructions of colour, size and wording or words of my choosing, I
will produce a high quality beautiful card to treasure forever.
For that extra special gift, you can have your card placed
in a beautiful handcrafted gift box and delivered directly to your intended
recipient.
In addition to producing high quality cards, I have
ventured into the world of jewellery making, handcrafting each individual item.
My jewellery is more fragile than industrially made or
mass produced items as they are mainly made with semi precious stones, resin
& beads.
My next venture will be to produce handmade handbags
and purses from materials such as silk, brocade and cotton.
My hands are a blessing from the Almighty, to which all
praises are due, for the gift that I have been given brings joy to the faces of
any recipient.
My vision for the future is to have my handcrafted
products sold globally.
